La Garrotxa
The La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park is the best example of volcanic landscape on the Iberian Peninsula. It has about forty volcanic cones and more than 20 basaltic lava flows. In this environment you will find a lot of activities to do. From the Santa Margarida volcano, in the Hageda de Jordà, passing through Olot and Besalú, without leaving us, of course, the medieval town of Santa Pau.

The Fageda d’en Jordà, one of the 28 nature reserves of the Natural Park, grows on a lava flow from the Croscat volcano that extends through the municipalities of Santa Pau, Olot and Les Preses.
