Santa Margarida volcano<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25″][vc_column_text]It is a mixed volcano, which had eruptive phases of Strombolian and phreatomagmatic type. The latter are explosive, and the one that occurred in Santa Margarita opened, when it exploded, a large circular crater, inside which is the hermitage that gives its name to the volcano. Croscat volcano<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25″][vc_column_text]The area of \u200b\u200bthe greaves of the Croscat volcano was restored in 1995, in order to organize the degraded area. Croscat is the youngest volcano in the La Garrotxa volcanic area. It had two eruptions, the first and largest 17,000 years ago, and the second 11,500 years ago.
