Cabbage is a curious flower. This is the definition that we can find in Wikipedia:
The flowers are known with the names of herb-col or flower formatting. In the Balearic Islands, in particular in Menorca and the Pitiusas, they are used as a stew to prepare cheeses and brambles in the traditional way, such as Maó’s cheese. The harvested flowers are dried and stored. When they are needed, they soak one night, then chop them and extract a juice, which is what is used as a meal.
In Mas El Carrer we like to take care of our surroundings.
This year we planted herb-col on the edge of the access road to the apartments and now we can see the flowering plants.
